A two-month cruise circling the Australian Coast has been cancelled in the wake of the tragic passing of an senior female passenger who was abandoned by the ship on a distant coastal location.

The passenger had been walking on the remote island with other travelers from the Coral Adventurer, but broke off from the group for a rest. The ship departed without her and went back several hours later after the ship staff discovered the lady was unaccounted for.
