Across the intensely cutthroat world of interactive entertainment, it's usual for new contenders to fade away as rapidly as they enter the landscape.

But the latest Battlefield is striving to alter that.

This is the newest release in a established combat FPS franchise commonly described as a more authentic alternative to the CoD series.

The title has not quite been able to match its most famous rival in aspects of units sold or gamers, but evidence points to the latest version could reduce the distance.

A trial event allowing players a shot to try out the game in recent months achieved milestones, and the hype leading up to its launch has been huge.

Yet the project is still a significant risk for publisher Electronic Arts, which has according to sources allocated vast amounts of dollars developing it.

We have communicated to a number of the makers to find out how they expect it will succeed.

Development Team and Developer Collaboration

A total of four studios were working on the project under the Battlefield Studios banner.

They include veteran developer the original team, headquartered in Scandinavia, California's Motive team and Ripple Effect Studios in North America.

One more, the Guildford team, is situated in Guildford.

The general manager is the general manager of the two EU-based studios, and explains to reporters that, in regards of what it's delivering users, "this new game is likely unbeatable."

Responding To Past Shortcomings

The UK studio creative lead Fas Salim is the person in charge of "guaranteeing those levels are as entertaining and compelling as can be for the gamers."

In spite of reports that the scale of the project had put a strain on the multiple teams collaborating globally to build the game, he is upbeat about the endeavor.

"Collaborating with diverse cultures, distinct heritages, it's a very interesting environment to be engaged with every day," he explains.

"This whole strategy has been a fresh take but something really exciting because we are collaborating with individuals from around the globe."

As for the pressure on the crew, the director says: "There is demand but additionally it's exciting.

"It's a large project. It's probably the largest that the majority of the team have ever worked on."

Emerging Developer Brings Innovative Insight
